Liya Kebede Has Some Freewheelin’ Fun

Liya Kebede is one of fashion’s most beautiful faces and quite possibly its reigning good girl. The cover star and former Estée Lauder spokeswoman moonlights as a WHO Goodwill Ambassador and is better known for her charity work and children’s clothing line than she is for any off-camera antics. As such, her editorials seem to be intentionally safe and classic—that is, except for this recent appearance in Elle Italia, where she had more than a little fun with Diana Ross’ signature curls and crimps, full brows, a purple lip, and yes, a pair of rollerblades. (Man, we hope that nineties trend comes back; it would provide endless moments of hilarity.) We’re loving Liya with a little spunk. You?
