Also known as Pueraria lobata, a coarse, high-climbing perennial vine with a huge root native to Eastern Asia, covering parts of southern Japan and southeast China; / n. / 2. Considered one of the 50 fundamental herbs in traditional Chinese medicine, with a host of remedial properties, including an ability to curb alcoholism and cure hangovers; / n. / 3.
