Amanda Seyfried Goes Big

April 26, 2010  11:14 am

It may not be Cannes, but with a larger-than-usual crop of real-deal A-listers walking the red carpet for their respective premieres this weekend, Robert De Niro’s onetime small downtown film festival is now officially a “very big deal.” Among the starlets out in Tribeca on Sunday was Amanda Seyfried, who, in support of her new project Letters to Juliet, took a few cues from the high-hair Fall runway spectaculars and gave her stylist clearance to go crazy with the teasing comb. While Seyfried’s textured French twist may look simple from the front, it’s actually quite complicated, with three ridges carved out by bobby pins and a thin black elastic headband to add dimension. That, in combination with a really tasteful smoky cat-eye—achieved with a pale, precise wash of charcoal shadow—made the whole look an on-trend winner in our book. Yours, too?
