Lipstick colors, eyebrow shapes, and cult haircuts come and go, but if the beauty industry has learned anything over the past few years, it’s that greener production practices and lower price points never go out of style. Darphin has reconciled these facts with two product launches that adhere to its high standards of luxury while opening it up to a whole new crop of consumers. Hydraskin Essential packs a lightweight, moisturizing punch for $50 and is enriched with fair-trade organic shea butter from IDEAL Providence Farm, a women’s cooperative in Ghana. This marks another first for the Paris-based company, which intends on upping its social responsibility over the next few years.
