Lavanila’s New Bundle Of Joy

-------

We got hooked on Lavanila through its aluminum-free Healthy Deodorant, which is one of the only natural odor fighters we’ve ever tried that actually works. With brand loyalty secured (and countless silk shirts saved), we were excited to learn about the company’s newest launch, the Healthy Baby collection, a five-piece skincare line designed for babies—and the discerning mothers who love them. Chemical-free and boasting over 30 essential vitamins and minerals, the collection is the only one of its kind at Sephora stores nationwide and has been specifically formulated with all-natural and organic ingredients to support the health and development of delicate baby skin, which is five times thinner than that of adults. Noni juice, organic calendula flower, and aloe nourish and soothe in a two-in-one shampoo and body wash, a lotion, a body butter, and a diaper cream. Seeing as how each product is gentle enough for newborns and adults with sensitivity, we’ve actually been partaking of the soft-smelling line ourselves (hints of vanilla and cocoa butter blend with the botanical ingredients for a cleaner, lighter baby powder smell; it’s both nostalgic and refreshing). The SPF 40 Baby Block has UVA and UVB protection in addition to the same PABA, paraben, phthalate, nanoparticle, and synthetic fragrance-free formula, making it a great sun care option whether you are with or without child. If you’re in the former category, bring the little one to Sephora’s Fifth Avenue store from 2 to 6 p.m. on Friday, May 14, for Lavanila’s open casting call to find the new face of the range. Parents outside of the New York City should feel free to enter the contest at www.sephora.com/win/healthybaby from today through June 1.
