Beauty Explorer: Hallo, From Norway

I recently took a two-week jaunt to Norway and noticed something only a few hours into my trip: The country’s natural beauty is everywhere you look—and I’m not just talking about its magnificent mountains and sapphire blue fjords. The sparkly-eyed, salty-haired masses who walk around its seaport villages and city streets are ridiculously attractive, which naturally made me curious about the minimalist culture’s beauty habits. Turns out, they get their enviable, understated cool from a mix of imported and local primping favorites. Here, a “best of” list, should you be planning a trip to the Land of the Midnight Sun anytime soon. Oh, and if you’re wondering how they keep their omega-3 fatty acid levels so high (they’re the building blocks of shiny hair and supple skin, remember), the answer is salmon. Lots of it.

1. The Allison White, Mayawater and Grand Hotel spa all look brilliant. I’m going to have to add those brands to my list of beauty things to check out asap, esp. the Mayawater.

2. I couldn’t agree more with this artical. Having just moved to Norway, I am surrounded by natural beauty in both scenery and people.

   Amundsen Omega 3 supplememts are the way to go though.
