Taylor Swift Embraces The Flat Iron

June 10, 2010  11:30 am

Taylor Swift has made a name for herself as much for her tight, flaxen ringlets as her angelic country twang, but the songbird couldn’t resist the lure of the blow-dryer at the CMT Music Awards in Nashville last night. As one-time haters of our own wavy, thick locks, we understand her urge to go straight. (By the way, she’s a fan of MorrocanOil, the argan oil-based elixir that’s such a dynamite smoothing agent.) Oh, but her curls! They’re so signature. What do you think: a nice change of pace, or a red-carpet beauty gaffe?

  1. I think she looks nice in both pictures acutally, but the curls are fun. But I am confused about the mention of Moroccan Oil here, mostly because I hate it. The real Moroccan oil that is so great for hair is the argan oil. You can get a pure bottle of it for $22 to $44 depending on who you buy it from. Why would anyone want a little of it mixed in with a bunch of chemicals?

  3. I think Taylor looks just amazing in every hair style that she wears. I always used to wonder how celebrities like her manage to have nice looking hair even after using flat irons and dryers quite often. It is actually the quality of the flat iron. I have also bought Karmin Titanium 1″ Professional Styling Iron http://search.folica.com/search?p=Q&ts=v5&isort=score&w=karmin . Now I can get flat hair whenever I want to and look like a celebrity.
