Beauty Bytes: The Best of Beauty Counter, July 2010

With 100 percent humidity and three serious heat waves to contend with here in New York, July felt like one long bad hair day. But the month did have its fair share of beauty highlights. Lady Gaga’s alleged fragrance was on, then off, then back on again; Lindsay went to jail with her hair extensions intact, thank goodness; and don’t forget the couture shows. Then there was the World Cup, which presented us with an opportunity to stage the sports-meets-beauty slideshow of our dreams. Fingers crossed American football offers up the same opportunity this fall. Click here for a recap of the month that was.
