Katy, Anna, And Gaga To Launch Fragrances (Yes, We Said Gaga)

While much of the beauty world is buzzing over two big fragrance announcements today—Katy Perry and Vogue Nippon fashion director Anna Dello Russo will both reportedly launch signature scents in time for the holidays—we’ve got another hot tip for you.

A very reliable insider has informed Style.com from her perch atop a pretty major beauty company that those Lady Gaga perfume rumors that were speculated and then refuted in the same week are in fact true. Coty is not, as previously mentioned, the brand behind the forthcoming eau de Gaga; but the fame monster’s people have been shopping around for a brand with whom to partner on not one but a series of Gaga-helmed scents, all of which will reportedly explore a unisex theme. (That’s something the “Alejandro” singer has a fair bit of experience with—by which, of course, we mean we think that is her in male drag in Vogue Hommes Japan, not that she’s actually a tranny. We don’t think.) More importantly: You heard it here first.
