Julia Roberts And Her Hair Steal The Spotlight

After months of hype, Eat, Pray, Love has finally made its film debut, bringing Elizabeth Gilbert’s book to the big screen and a bevy of celebs onto the red carpet. Julia Roberts and Javier Bardem were arm-in-arm at last night’s New York premiere, and Josh Brolin made a cameo, too. Sadly, the film’s other leading man, James Franco, was a no-show, but you hardly noticed. The superstar actress wowed in Stella McCartney and a face full of Lancôme makeup; she’s the brand’s new ambassador, after all. Going for a chic, modern, and natural look, makeup artist Genevieve Herr achieved complexion perfection with Lancôme’s Teint Miracle Foundation, which comes out next month. A slight smoky eye, multiple coats of Lancôme’s Définicils Precious Cells Mascara in Black, and a neutral lip (courtesy of the brand’s Le Lipstique Lip Liner in Sheer Natural and a topping of its Color Design Lipstick in Love It! mixed with a touch of Juicy Tubes in Spring Fling) finished off the look. As for that hair, which a friend of Beauty Counter’s who was lucky enough to attend the premiere called “mesmerizing,” that was all Serge Normant. Roberts doesn’t trust anyone else to create her signature, middle-parted loose waves. Thoughts on the look?

She is drop dead gorgeous. And, I believe she’s had no work done-is that correct? I was at the premier too and you could spot that hair all the way across the room.
