FNO, The Beauty Edition

-------

The Fashion’s Night Out festivities begin in a couple of hours. Should you still be trying to figure out where the best beauty buys, fragrance previews, and free manicures will be, we’ve got a cheat sheet for you. Here, our top ten hit list for some after-hours primping.

Roger Vivier

What: We told you about Inès de la Fresange’s new fragrance collection for Roger Vivier back in July, and while the scents won’t officially launch until October, the RV Boutique on Madison will be previewing all five of them tonight, while hosts like Leighton Meester and Coco Brandolini sip Champagne and toss back a canapé or two.

When: 6 to 11 p.m.

Where: 750 Madison Ave. at 65th street, NYC

Revlon at Rag & Bone

What: The makeup giant’s global artistic director, Gucci Westman, will be taking up residence at husband and Rag & Bone designer David Neville’s Mercer Street storefront with Revlon’s brand ambassador Holly Berry in tow. Ping-pong, burgers, and mini-makeovers will abound, as will Westman’s new ColourBurst Lipstick in Fashion’s Night Pout (cle-ver), a creamy nude that will not be sold in stores but will be doled out to anyone who makes a purchase or donates to Berry’s Jenesse Center Foundation.

When: 8 to 9:30 p.m.

Where: Rag & Bone, 119 Mercer St., NYC

MAC Cosmetics

What: To celebrate its new Fabulous Felines collection, MAC has enlisted catty comedienne Sarah Silverman for some stand-up at its Soho store. Inside sources have informed us that Silverman has indeed asked for a guitar, so there’s no telling what kind of hilarious musical antics will ensue.

When: 8 p.m.

Where: MAC Cosmetics, 113 Spring St., NYC

Kiehl’s Since 1851

What: For the second year in a row, Kiehl’s will be hosting a Karaoke Karnival for FNO, with special celebrity singers like American Idol’s Jordin Sparks. You too can sing a tune—and win a free lip balm, if you do—or purchase the limited-edition Kiehl’s Night Out Fashion Week Skincare Essentials kit, which includes its Midnight Recovery Concentrate, Powerful-Strength Line-Reducing Concentrate, Dermatologist Solutions Super Fluid UV Defense SPF 50+, Ultra Facial Cream, and Creamy Eye Treatment with Avocado. Get your cotton candy and hot dogs while they last.

When: 6:30 to 11 p.m.

Where: Kiehl’s Since 1851, 109 Third Ave. at 13th St., NYC

Guerlain Shalimar

What: We gave you the exclusive sneak peek at Jade Jagger’s new bottle design for Guerlain’s iconic scent, and tonight, you can see it—and its creator—in person at Saks, where Ms. Jagger will be holding court for one hour only. Just enough time to ask her those two hard-hitting questions: “What inspired your flacon design?” and “What’s your favorite Rolling Stones song?”

When: 7 to 8 p.m.

Where: Saks Fifth Avenue, 611 Fifth Ave., NYC

Tom Ford Beauty

What: While you’re at Saks, pop on over to the Tom Ford Beauty counter, where his Black Orchid trio—a solid perfume, a deep berry-tinged lipstick, and a new Bordeaux-colored nail varnish all of the same name—will premiere. The set will not officially be available for purchase until later this month, but tonight the first 20 customers to arrive will get a signed edition! Ford himself will be occupied with a personal appearance at the Bergdorf Goodman Men’s Store on the 2nd floor.

When: Personal appearance from 8 to 8:30 p.m.

Where: Saks Fifth Avenue, 611 Fifth Ave., NYC; Bergdorf Goodman, 754 Fifth Ave., NYC

Sephora

What: Gwen Stefani will be previewing her new Harajuku Lovers Fragrance collection, Wicked Style, at Sephora’s Soho store tonight with a special FNO fragrance package. If you’re one of the first 100 people to make a purchase, Gwen will personally sign your Wicked Style bottle. You can also make like your favorite Harajuku Lover character with a makeover courtesy of Make Up For Ever and T3. Over at one of Sephora’s uptown destinations, model-turned-makeup maven Josie Maran will be previewing her new Argan Oil Color Stick in Cherry Popsicle. We’re impatiently waiting for this to launch next year, so getting your hands on it now is a total score.

When: 7 to 9 p.m.

Where: Sephora Soho, 555 Broadway between Prince and Spring streets, NYC; Sephora Fifth Avenue, 597 Fifth Ave. between 48th and 49th streets, NYC

DKNY

What: To celebrate FNO and the launch of its new Delicious Core Club—an online social community inspired by its apple-shaped Be Delicious fragrance—DKNY has enlisted the ubiquitous Leigh Lezark to man the decks at a Belvedere vodka and popcorn-charged soirée. And yes, Donna Karan herself will be making a cameo.

When: 6 to 11 p.m. (with celebrity appearances by Christina Ricci et al. from 8 to 9 p.m.)

Where: DKNY, 655 Madison Ave. at 60th St., NYC

Victoria’s Secret

What: In honor of its latest fragrance, Bombshell, Victoria’s Secret has fittingly enlisted some of its own Angels, Adriana Lima and Chanel Iman among them, to sign autographs and spritz their pulse points while looking generally sexy at its Soho store. The new purple passion fruit, Shangri-la peony, and vanilla orchid eau will be available for sniffing—on your own wrists, of course.

When: 7 to 10 p.m.

Where: Victoria’s Secret Soho, 591 Broadway between Houston and Prince streets, NYC

Chanel

What: At long last, Chanel’s Les Khakis de Chanel nail polish trio will take center stage at its newly reopened Soho boutique. Nail bars will be set up for gratis mini manicures, and displays with the French brand’s new Soho Story collection will also be on view. Might we suggest taking its Khaki Vert lacquer for a spin? We are currently giving it a ten-finger salute.

When: 6 to 11 p.m.

Where: Chanel, 139 Spring St., NYC
