NARS Rolls Out The Welcome Matte

Did you notice all the matte lips at the Emmys on Sunday night? Keri Russell, Joan Allen, and Lea Michele were among a gaggle of stars sporting NARS’ new Pure Matte Lipstick, which celebs and models have had the privilege of test-running for the past few months. Today, the playing field was finally leveled; NARS’ latest lipstick collection hit shelves exclusively at Saks. The range comes in six highly pigmented shades, all of which are packed with vitamin E, mango butter, and açaí oil so while your color stays matte, your lips remain moisturized and soft. Volga (a deep berry) and Vesuvio (a true red) are our current favorites. And those of you who can rock a no-shine nude lip (sadly, we aren’t among you) should definitely give Tashkent a whirl. It’s very Veruschka!
