Perfume Baubles, Inspired By Nature

Another holiday season, another round of Estée Lauder solid perfume baubles to enjoy. For 2010, the beauty giant has re-enlisted the design services of longtime collaborator Jay Strongwater, who had nature on the brain when crafting this year’s decorative compacts. Colorful floral designs equipped with intricate gemstones and elaborate Swarovski crystals encase solid pans of Lauder fragrances, like its FiFi award-winning Sensuous and its perennial classic Youth Dew. Our personal favorites are from the “land and sea” arm of the collection. The gorgeous gold and jewel-encrusted sea turtle, which is available exclusively at Neiman Marcus, is packed with the clean, fresh scent of White Linen, and the gilded bird (a bluebird, to be exact, for the ornithologists out there) has deep aquamarine eyes and a secret pot of Pleasures perfume neatly tucked inside. If anyone is looking for a last-minute gift for us, there you go.
