Let’s face it, upper lashes get all the love. All those dual-purpose, dual-ended mascaras that curl and lengthen before they coat, or the vibrating varieties, or even the oversize, fringe-inflating wands aren’t exactly created with your bottom set in mind. Those of us who insist on equal-opportunity mascara distribution have long resorted to using the tip of our wands to vertically paint all those itty-bitty bottom lashes, often, inevitably, veering off course. But there is another way, according to Clinique. Its new miniature Bottom Lash Mascara boasts a thermal formula—with fast-drying acrylates copolymer, malleable bentonite, and conditioning jojoba oil—that lasts up to 24 hours and resists the smudging effects of sweat, humidity, and water. All that’s well and good, of course, but what really impresses is its cute, tiny little brush. Commence 1960′s spider lash tributes now.
