Britney’s Subversive Endorsement Deal; Nicki’s Pastel Makeover; and More…

If you noticed a few heavy-handed product placements in Britney Spears’ “Hold It Against Me” video, that was intentional. Nicki Minaj has finally parted ways with the brightly streaked wigs that have become her signature of late. Minx has tackled the celebrity nail market by getting its highly designed overlays onto some of the most famous hands in the biz. So, where does the California-based company go from here? Straight to these A-listers’ manicurists, of course. The brand is partnering with the likes of Lisa Logan (Beyoncé, Mary J. Blige, and Queen Latifah) and Marian Newman (Givenchy, Vivienne Westwood, and Valentino) for eight-piece collaborative color collections. Up next will be offerings from Kimmie Kyees (Katy Perry and Rihanna) and Naja Rickette (Lady Gaga). [WWD]
