Oscar de la Renta is getting social-media savvy. Instead of going the usual product-release route, he’s using Twitter, Tumblr, and Facebook to launch his first fragrance in ten years, Esprit d’Oscar (an update on the house’s first fragrance launched in 1977). Beauty blog fans beware: April Fool’s tomfoolery is in the air, and you should read today’s posts carefully. So far, we’ve spotted two spoofs: Bellasugar unveiled a collaboration between Apple and MAC called MAC² for all the makeup-obsessed computer nerds out there.
