Stand Up To Seasonal Skin Disorder
Spring has finally sprung in New York, and while that’s very good news for our wardrobe—if we never see a sweater again it will be too soon—the same doesn’t necessarily go for our skin. The changing of the seasons can bring sensitivity issues to the surface, but for those experiencing what we like to call seasonal skin disorder, there is relief on the horizon. Atopalm, a line designed specifically to treat dryness, sensitivity, and sun damage, is unfussy in both appearance and formula: The modestly packaged products are entirely paraben-free and made with plant-derived ingredients that imitate the skin’s natural barrier. Two new additions to the line have arrived in stores. Both the Moisturizing Eye Repair Serum and Moisturizing Skin Revitalizing Complex boast peptide and vitamin C-packed formulas designed to combat fine lines with a silky texture. The eye serum manages to layer easily under our daily application of Yves Saint Laurent Touch Eclat (a makeup bag must-have for the dark-circle plagued among us), and the skin-smoothing, lightweight Revitalizing Complex has proved to be a worthy replacement for our heavier winter moisturizer, which we are officially putting into retirement until October.
