Burt’s Bees Shows Off Its Sensitive Side

-------

Believe it or not, a vast majority of women claim that they have sensitive skin. And since there’s no precise medical definition regarding what actually constitutes sensitivity, they just may be right. The cold hard truth is that our complexions often react unpleasantly to a new treatment or even the slightest change in product regimen. It’s something that the beauty industry is paying attention to; an influx of sensitive skin-centric products are landing on shelves this fall. The latest brand to offer up a way to keep irritation at bay is beloved green-leaning favorite Burt’s Bees. One of the originators of the natural category nearly 30 years ago, the line has produced cult favorites like its beeswax lip balm, lemon butter cuticle cream, and the tingly peppermint and rosemary body wash. Its new sensitive skin collection promises to produce a few more. Formulated with cotton extract, moisturizing rice extract, and soothing aloe, the line comprises a cleanser, moisturizing cream, eye cream, and a silky smooth night cream, and in true Burt’s Bees fashion, the price is definitely right: Nothing tops $15.

Burt’s Bees Sensitive collection will be available at www.burtsbees.com beginning September 1.
