Dip-Dyed Hair: Do Or Die?
It’s time to open a dialogue on the hot topic issue of dip-dyed hair. Here at Beauty Counter, we’re of the mind that this trend peaked last season after an initial surge that followed Proenza Schouler’s Spring 2010 surf-inspired show two years ago. Yet for some reason, the style is still getting play. The New York Times hailed it as a “new” development for the summer as B-listers like Snooki and The Hills‘ Lauren Conrad adopted the technique. But now, even bona fide fashion stars seem to be in on the conspiracy to keep the trend alive, as Kate Bosworth debuted newly tinted aqua locks at a Coldplay show in L.A. last night. And so we put it to you, dear readers: Does dip-dying need to die or is it here to stay?
