P. Diddy is launching a new scent called Empress and the rapper has pegged former Destiny’s Child singer Kelly Rowland to be the face of the fragrance. [PopCrush]

More info on Dita Von Teese’s forthcoming fragrance. The burlesque queen tweeted that her signature scent would not include “fruit, candy, or vanilla” essences back in May, and now she has revealed what it will include: “a lot of luscious flowers—Bulgarian rose, tiare, peony—and sexy wood” for something that appeals to “grown-up girls.” [WWD]

In light of the recent crackdown on over-airbrushed, unrealistic beauty advertisements in the U.K., there has been an inquiry into women’s perception of digital enhancement in the U.S. The overall findings? We don’t care quite as much on this side of the pond. “We’re aspiring to improve,” the general opinion seems to be stateside, which means beauty companies are not really selling a product—or any kind of real idea of beauty; they’re selling a state of mind.
