Pink Ribbon Winners

Big strides have been made in the beauty industry to promote breast cancer awareness since Evelyn Lauder co-created the pink ribbon initiative back in 1992. Almost twenty years later, every October now sees the debut of limited edition, charitable releases. Here, we’ve handpicked five of our favorite ways to shop for the cure.

Smash Hit

What: OPI’s limited-edition Pink Shatter: Pink of Hearts

Why: This is the first pink in the brand’s popular Shatter Nail Lacquers series, which includes texturizing varnishes that are free of DBP, toluene, and formaldehyde. Every purchase through October will go towards OPI’s annual $25,000 contribution to Susan G. Komen for the Cure.

Lather, Rinse, Give Back

What: Gianna Rose Atelier’s Soap

Why:These triple-milled, blush-toned bars are scented with fresh linen and embossed with a demure pink ribbon. A portion of the proceeds from the limited-edition set will be donated to the Triple Negative Breast Cancer Foundation, but act fast: The boxes are sold out online but a few are still available by calling the company directly.
