Duane Reade recently revealed its suped-up The Look Boutique on Wall Street, replete with upmarket mass-prestige crossover products, blow-dry services, and a manicure bar, and by all accounts the concept shop is working; Walgreens just announced plans to export the idea into its network of stores nationwide. Eau de Dita Von Teese is officially on the market. The burlesque singer made landfall in Germany to debut her signature scent—which won’t be Von Teese’s last venture into the fragrance market. “I would hope I could be like Elizabeth Taylor and be on my 40th perfume by the time I’m in a wheelchair,” she says. Also now available for your spritzing pleasure: Taylor Swift’s first flacon, Wonderstruck. “A fragrance can help shape someone’s first impression and memory of you,” the country superstar says of the freesia, honeysuckle, and vanilla scent. “It’s exciting to think that Wonderstruck will play a role in creating some of those memories.” [MTV]
