Beautannia’s Garden Variety
Space NK has earned itself a rep around these parts for discovering and promoting niche brands. Take, for example, Elemental Herbology, the natural-minded skincare label with packaging as desirable as its formulations, or Margaret Dabbs, the chic foot care line that has us caring more about our feet than we ever thought possible. Now, the Brit-born superstore is adding another feather to its cap with Beautannia, a line of luxurious scented body and home products. Included in each collection are a body lotion, body cream, bath and shower gel, bath oil, decorative soap, and scented candle in fragrance medleys like Brideshead, which takes its cues from the lush florals of classic English gardens, and the super green Balfour, which boasts vetiver, birch leaf, and oakmoss meant to conjure images of the fabled Scottish highlands. But our personal favorite is Bloomsbury. The sandalwood, neroli, oud, and geranium blend has a cool androgynous aroma that’s best appreciated in bath oil and candle form; take a fragrant tub while a warm flame of the same scent burns nearby.
