“No Solids:” How an Angel Gets Her Wings; a New Miss World Is Crowned; and More…

So, how does model Adriana Lima prep for the annual Victoria’s Secret fashion show? Easy: She works out twice daily and lives on a diet of protein shakes made from powdered eggs. For nine days prior to the show, she’ll eat no solids, and 12 hours before it, she’ll take no liquids—”so you dry out. Sometimes you can lose up to eight pounds just from that,” the Brazilian bombshell says. Hey, at least she’s honest; we had a sneaking suspicion that she doesn’t just roll out of bed and into that diamond-studded G-string. [Daily Mail]

The premiere of Breaking Dawn: Part 1 may still be two weeks away, but the blockbuster is already making beauty headlines. Twilight Beauty (the cosmetics collection inspired by the wildly popular book-turned-film series) will release Immortal Twilight, a citrus and chamomile fragrance, in honor of the movie’s release. Nail polish is the beauty—and fashion—industry’s product obsession du jour, and now Eres is getting in on the action. The lingerie and swimwear brand will launch its own line of three predictably sexy lacquers next spring. [WWD]

Kirsten Dunst has revealed that part of her post-moviemaking plan includes dreams of launching a home decor and beauty line. “I am someone who really cares about the products I put out. Even if it was inexpensive, I’d want it to be really well done. I do love nice-smelling things. We’ll see what happens.” There’s definitely a fragrance contract in Dunst’s future. [USA Today]
