Pom, Still Wonderful

Before there was acai and green tea, pomegranate was the exotic extract that the beauty industry was touting as the next big thing for remedying all of your skincare woes. But credit for the antioxidant-packed, Mediterranean fruit’s now global appeal really goes to Korres. The Greek pharmaceutical company harnessed the local crop’s free-radical fighting abilities way back in the early aughts and built a strong lineup of vitamin-charged products around it to boot (its pomegranate face cream has always been a personal favorite, but the pomegranate lip butter is also an old standby). The brand just expanded its pom wonderful offerings with a universally tinted, water-based, Mattifying Primer that minimizes pores and evens out skin tone almost on contact, as well as a purifying, gentle Toner that refreshes while wiping away any impurities. Both are laced with a hearty dose of the ruby superfruit, and offer up yet two more ways to get naturally glowing, healthy skin.
