To The Victor Go The Coils

Charlize Theron is racking up the award nominations for her role in Young Adult this season, and even though she lost the statuette to The Help‘s Viola Davis last night at the Critics’ Choice Awards, she was one of the night’s big winners on the red carpet. And that has a lot to do with her braided updo. Theron and her long-time hair stylist, Enzo Angileri, devised a small and tight side plait that wound around her head, ultimately joining a coiled chignon pinned above the nape of her neck. A light mist of Moroccanoil Glimmer Shine Spray highlighted the shape of the low-slung bun. If these are the kinds of bells and whistles she pulls out for the Critics’ Choice Awards, we can only imagine what she’s got up her sleeve for the Golden Globes on Sunday. Thoughts on the style?
