We couldn’t help but feel a little wistful while we perused pictures from the Sundance Film Festival this weekend. Sure, it snowed in New York on Friday night, but those three inches of precipitation that quickly turned to a gray slushy, salty mess didn’t even begin to compare to snaps of Park City’s fresh powder and the bevy of young, hip celebrities trudging through it. But there is a way for the rest of us to get a touch of wintery glamour. For its 2012 Clicquot in the Snow initiative—Veuve Clicquot’s annual program that features Champagne tastings, charitable events, and designer collaborations—the iconic French bubbly brand has teamed up with Fresh to create a beauty survival kit for the season. It’s not as unlikely a pairing as it may seem; after a trip to Veuve Clicquot’s vineyard in Reims back in 2006, Fresh co-founder Alina Roytberg was inspired to create her company’s classic Citron de Vigne fragrance, a rollerball of which is now included in a custom-designed leather carryall with its Sugar Lip Treatment, Crème Ancienne, Brown Sugar Hand Cream, and miniatures of its Soy Face Cleanser and Seaberry Restorative Body Cream. No, it’s not the same as hitting the slopes with Elizabeth Olsen and Emma Roberts, but weathering the cold—no matter where you are—with chap-free lips, well-moisturized skin, and a fresh, sparkling scent is almost as good, right?
