London’s Latest Pond-Hopper Arrives At Sephora

Jo Malone first tipped us off to Ciaté’s collectability. “I love [them]; the Brit Brigade set is one of my favorite gifts to give girlfriends,” the fragrance maven said of nail guru Charlotte Knight’s line of adorably bow-tied nail lacquers last Spring. The London-born brand boasts a fantastic array of great colors—that Knight cleverly refers to as “paint pots”—all of which are free of common chemicals like formaldehyde, dibutyl phthalate (DBP), toluene, and camphor. And while Ciaté ships internationally from its Web site, obtaining a bottle can get pretty pricey outside of the EU, which is why we were particularly excited to learn this piece of good news: Knight has inked a deal with Sephora, which will start stocking her polishes and accessories this month. The jelly-red Mistress is an instant classic, while the appeal of the iridescent, golden-green Oil Slick is much like the allure of Chanel’s Fall 2011 hit, Peridot. We’re currently loving Confetti, a shade of micronized rainbow glitter set in a clear base that looks great on bare nails and even better when used as a fun, shimmering topcoat.

$15 each, available at beginning March 2012.
