Bulgari Does Thé For Two

A word on scented candles: They are are more often than not painfully cloying—particularly those crafted around holiday events (wafts of sugarplums and pine needles are best enjoyed in moderation, rather than permeated throughout an entire room). There are, however, a select few brands that have mastered the tricky business of transitioning fragrance from flacon to votive: Diptyque, of course, is one; and Bulgari is another. The famed jewelry purveyor-turned-maker of fine scents and skincare has just adapted its fan-favorite Eaux Parfumées—Thé Vert, a refreshing green tea eau de cologne that is spiked with essences of jasmine and orange blossom, and Thé Blanc, a light white tea eau de cologne that is blended with hints of abelmosk and white pepper—into home fragrances dubbed Biscuits de Porcelaine. Each comes in a gorgeous porcelain cup and contains a delightfully subtle, clean aroma that’s perfect for burning while you tend to any lingering spring cleaning, as has become our favorite weekend pastime over the past month. The set may also come in handy on Sunday, May 13, if you want to give your mother a real surprise: A Bulgari box is sure to speed up her heart rate—and even though what’s inside won’t sparkle, it also won’t disappoint.
