Madonna To Make One For The Boys?; Katy Picks Purple; And More…


Madonna’s first fragrance just hit shelves, and the singer already has perfume number two in the works. It will be out “sometime next year,” Madge confirms before adding that she’d like to branch out into men’s scents as well. “I love musk and amber and woody kinds of fragrances on men. I love the smell of whiskey—we should make a men’s cologne that smells like whiskey. I can’t drink it, it’s too strong, but it smells amazing—a really good old whiskey.” [WWD]

Despite recent reports that excessive tanning has declined in Western cultures, it appears as though it’s still a problem in the U.K. So much of a problem, in fact, that one London tanning salon has implemented a new finger-printing program, to ID return customers and prevent them from using sun beds more than once in a 24-hour period. Beyoncé and Jay-Z have been spotted out and about recently sans their favorite new accessory, baby Blue Ivy. But the couple still has their newborn on the brain: At the Knicks game this weekend, Beyoncé sported a fresh coat of her now signature, tributary blue manicure. [Us]
