There are a lot of reasons to like Jessica Chastain. First and foremost there are her serious acting chops, which have already earned her an Oscar nod and many a role alongside such bold-faced names as Brad Pitt, Al Pacino, and Sean Penn. Then, of course, there’s her sparkling personality: Chastain is smart—and incredibly easy to talk to, which is always a bonus if and when you should find yourself on the party reporting circuit. But we’re mostly drawn to her impressive eye for beauty; the upcoming star of Nick Benson’s The Disappearance of Eleanor Rigby: His has that whole classic Hollywood glamour thing down. It’s rare to find her making a misstep on the red carpet, and last night’s The Heiress opening on Broadway was no exception, as the YSL fragrance face turned up with a Veronica Lake-caliber side-sweep, perfectly painted red lips, a precise black cat-eye and lots of lashes. This, ladies, is how keeping it classy is done. Thoughts on Chastain’s latest hair and makeup clinic?
