Olivia Wilde Fades Into Blue
Blue—not black—eye makeup was one of the big beauty stories at the Spring shows, with liners and shadows in shades of navy, aqua, and turquoise turning up en masse from Michael Kors in New York and Mary Katrantzou in London to Versus in Milan. But our favorite blues project came at Altuzarra, where Tom Pecheux used a midnight blue pencil to accent models’ upper lash lines (more on that when our Backstage Confidential feature goes live on Friday). Olivia Wilde employed a similar technique at the Django Unchained premiere last night in New York, where the Revlon brand ambassador used a marine pigment to rim a smudged black outline. Needless to say, we were into it. You too?
