Shu Uemura’s beloved eyelash curler gets an update. The S Curler’s band is shorter, so you can add a precise curve to tiny, hard-to-reach lashes, and boasts a pad designed to be pressed against the eye for stability. [The Cut]

While waistlines and the number of travelers have increased in size since the 1950s, plane seats have not. According to research out of the London Sleep Centre (commissioned by Airbus), 18-inch chairs are conducive to better sleep at 35,000 feet (50 percent better than the standard 16- or 17-inch seats).
