Remember that meteorite that crashed into Russia’s Ural region last month? Rather than erect plaques or statues, local authorities are memorializing the event with a perfume. It will be called Chebarkul Meteorite, after the lake where pieces of the asteroid were recovered, and “will most likely feature metallic and stony notes.” No, we’re not making this up. [Allure]
