The Justin Bieber Beauty Empire Grows Ever Larger; Erox Cometh; And More…

First came the nail polish line with O.P.I., then the scented dog tags at Wal-Mart, and now Justin Bieber is launching a proper women’s scent called Someday. Yes, there is a removable charm attached to the bottle. [WWD]

It looks like Jennifer Lawrence has pulled a Carey Mulligan. The once tawny-maned Winter’s Bone star has gone brunette for her latest role in the highly anticipated first film from the Hunger Games franchise. [The Hollywood Gossip]

Penélope Cruz is tired of people complaining about a smile line here or some crow’s feet there. “When I hear a woman who is in her early 30s is worrying about growing old, I just want to slap her. I just don’t like how women complain about growing old. When I’m 80, I want to look in the mirror and see an 80-year-old woman,” the Spanish stunner says. [Monsters & Critics]

DVF, Back In Beauty; Justin Bieber, The Nail Polish Line; And More…

Diane von Furstenberg the fragrance, the skincare, and the makeup are en route. True story! Also true: DVF is working with former president of YSL Beautè, Chantal Roos, which makes the whole endeavor that much more exciting. Stay tuned. [WWD]

In other fashion brands-getting-into-the-beauty-biz news, Jimmy Choo is finally launching its first fragrance after signing a perfume licensing deal a few years back. [Elle UK]

Beginning in December, “The Bieber” will no longer merely be a reference to the teen pop phenom’s sweeping bangs as Nicole by OPI launches its “One Less Lonely Girl” lacquer collection. Is it wrong that we kind of want to try “Step 2 the Beat of my Heart,” a clear top coat with heart shaped flecks? [Glamour]

At what price straight hair? Formaldehyde, it would appear. More salons are removing the “Brazilian blowout” service from their menus in the face of accusations that one of the leading manufacturers of the product used in the treatment, despite claims to the contrary, actually contains trace amounts of the substance. Those unruly curls are looking real good right about now, huh? [WWD]
