Christian Louboutin: The Beauty Line; All Hail The King And Queen Of Celebrity Fragrance; And More…

First came the red soles, and now it looks like Christian Louboutin will be devoting his attention to red lipsticks. The famed shoe designer has announced plans for Christian Louboutin Beauté, which will launch early next year. [WWD]

In today’s nail-obsessed world, new lacquer lines are a dime a dozen. But Duality Cosmetics founder Barbara Lampugnale’s Nail-Pak still manages to stand out. Aside from the grueling schedules, many late nights, and miles walked in Louboutin heels (if only to avoid being snapped by street style photographers in “commuter shoes”), one of the worst things about fashion week is knowing that certain lust-worthy runway items will not be purchasable until spring. The same disappointment can be true of backstage beauty, as was the case at yesterday’s Hussein Chalayan presentation. That delicious shade of raspberry on models’ lips, courtesy of makeup artist Pat McGrath, was Max Factor’s new Vivid Impact lip color in Ms. Understood (cle-ver!). A perfect transition shade between berry and hot pink, the color is extremely wearable—and unfortunately not available until January. Damn you, McGrath! Why do you tempt us so?
