Rose Byrne Falls In

-------

If you thought it was too early for fall-favorite makeup like warm apricot blush and a deep berry lipstick, Rose Byrne begs to differ. The Damages star showed up to the series’ season 4 premiere in New York last night sporting both for an autumnal look in the dead of summer. Since winning us over in a major way with her starring turn in Bridesmaids, we’re of the mind that Byrne can do no wrong—especially since her filled-in brows and heavy chestnut fringe look amazing with a full face of color. Disagree? Correct us if we’re wrong below.

Fringe Envy

-------

We’re not going to pretend to know who Rose Byrne is, outside of the fact that she’s on Damages, a show we’ve never seen (but have heard good things about). We will, however, fully admit to knowing plenty about her recently cut bangs, which mesmerize us every time she turns up on the red carpet. Her appearance at last night’s New Museum Spring Gala in New York, where she accessorized her signature mod fringe and blunt-cut clavicle-grazing brunette tresses with a Calvin Klein Collection dress, was no exception. Here’s the secret of her success: To get that perfect forehead curvature that properly utilizes the weight of the fringe, you need to curl the ends ever so slightly, applying heat to a round brush. Sure, that may sound like a gratuitous extra step, but this is the kind of reward you’ll reap. Which look do you think is her best?
