There’s no coming between Beyoncé and her hair. The singing sensation and Met Ball co-chair reportedly demands complete creative control of her hair on set—specifically the set of the four fashion films she recently shot for H&M. [Business Insider]

After almost a year of legal battles, the Kardashian sisters have finally agreed to change the name of their cosmetics range from Khroma Beauty to Kardashian Beauty, to avoid having to pay the copyright holder of the Kroma cosmetics brand $10 million in damages. [Daily Mail]

First came the news that Amanda Seyfried would be the new face of Givenchy’s Very Irresistible fragrance, and now comes the TV ad for the perfume starring the Lovelace actress. It’s a little spaghetti Western, a little nouvelle vague, and it’s got a lot of attitude. [YouTube]

Khroma Beauty Faces Another Setback; Nicki Minaj Creates a Fragrance Wardrobe—Literally; And More…


Following lawsuits aplenty claiming that Kim, Khloé, and Kourtney Kardashian’s makeup range, Khroma Beauty, infringed on the copyright for Kroma Makeup, which is held by a Florida-based company, a U.S. District Court for the Central District of California has issued a preliminary injunction blocking the reality stars’ beauty venture—for now. In other sisters-Kardashian news, Kim has gotten blunt-cut bangs. Stop the presses. [Daily Mail]

Bobbi Brown is a big proponent of always focusing on “your beauty in the moment,” which is how she often advises clients over fifty. “Never compare to the way you used to look,” she recommends—with two exceptions: “Whiten your teeth, because yellow ones look unhealthy. Get gloss treatments to keep hair shiny and lustrous.” [AARP]

Karl for Shu; Daphne Does Dior; And More…


Karl Lagerfeld is teaming up with Shu Uemura to launch a limited-edition range of pigments inspired by the designer’s love of the Japanese-born brand, whose products he exclusively uses when sketching. “Other manufacturers do not offer such beautiful colors,” he says. Except for Chanel, right? [WWD]

First came the spokesperson gigs for diet pills and burger joints, then the signature scents and skincare brands, and now the sisters Kardashian are teaming up on their very own makeup line. Khroma Beauty will “resonate strongly with multiethnic women of all ages who aspire to the Kardashian style of beauty.” Be afraid. [NYDN]
