Sienna Miller Glams It Up

We’ve been semi-disappointed with a few of the bland red-carpet looks Sienna Miller has put together during the global press junket for G.I. Joe: The Rise of Cobra. But at last night’s premiere in L.A., she redeemed herself. In an exercise in real Hollywood glamour, the actress broke out a deep side part, sculpted brows, lots of lashes, and a lustrous rust-colored pout courtesy of a mixture of two forthcoming Chanel Rouge Allure shades, Fatale and Obscure, both out this Fall. Very Lana Turner, and very well done. Don’t you think?

How To Get The Face Of An Angel

At the Victoria’s Secret runway show this past weekend, winged supermodels took the catwalk in varying degrees of almost-naked, sporting barely-there lingerie and accessories that, to some in the crowd (read: pre- and postpubescent males), surely seemed divinely inspired. Backstage, it was makeup artist Charlotte Tilbury’s job to create some contours of her own, harkening back to old-Hollywood glamour with an “updated twist.” Gone are the days of homages to Lana Turner’s red lips and fine, black cat eyes, however. Tilbury’s glamour girls were all about shine. She highlighted the models’ cheekbones with a touch of Blush in Jewels from Heidi Klum’s signature collection for the brand and layered brown, gold, and sheer shimmer on their lids, which were lined with Victoria’s Secret Very Sexy Makeup Eyeliner in Dark Chocolate. She finished the look with a peachy nude lipstick in Whisper, also from the Very Sexy line, and topped off with a neutral brown gloss called Cupcake—from the Heidi Collection—for an overall effect that will guarantee passage through the gates of heaven.

See more of the the angels’ runway looks when the show airs on CBS at 10:00 PM EST Wednesday, December 3rd.
