Margot Elena Wells’ Garden Grows

-------

Attention, New York City: It’s currently 79 degrees outside. Never mind the rain and severe temperature drop they’re predicting for tomorrow. Right here, right now, it is spring, and we’re feeling great about it. The sun is shining, the daffodils and crocuses are blooming, and Margot Elena Wells’ new beauty venture is filling the floral void inside our office. Wells—the self-taught illustrator and beauty entrepreneur behind brands like Tokyo Milk, Lollia, and Love & Toast—has turned her attention to small-batch perfumery for her latest launch, Library of Flowers, which includes eaux de parfum, parfum creams, hand creams, bath oils, shower gels, soaps, and bubble baths in twelve different scent combinations. From the apricot, honey blossom, and wildflower-tinged Field and Flowers and the water lily, evening lotus, and midnight jasmine Moonshadow, to the green cardamom, ylang-ylang, and amber-resin-infused Arboretum, and the white tea, sheer bamboo, and orchid petal Kirimashi Air, each one of the hand-blended aromas is the olfactory embodiment of spring. And if that’s not enough to sell you on these seasonal mood enhancers, Wells’ brightly colored packaging will presumably seal the deal.
