Blond and Blonder

And the wave of blonds continues with Naya Rivera, who sported a new honey hue (which looks eerily similar to Kim Kardashian’s current color) at last night’s People’s Choice Awards in Los Angeles. Kate Mara also appears to have lightened up—transitioning from gold to platinum. We’ll add her to the list of catwalkers who have entered icier territories in the recent months.

Diane Kruger, In Glorious Form

-------

Yesterday’s People’s Choice Awards officially kicked off the 2010 awards show season. A bevy of A-listers will be hitting the red carpet in the coming weeks, including Diane Kruger, whose impeccable style earned her a coveted spot on this blog—more than once, in fact—during the press junket for Inglourious Basterds last summer. The model-turned-actress, who is just as comfortable in Chanel as she in Jason Wu, easily skirts the line between classic glamour and down-to-earth chic. Last night she chose the latter, going with clean skin, a sheer gloss, a thin helping of black eyeliner, and matte, beach-y waves for the occasion. Will she step it up for the Globes on January 17 or stick with a more casual cool for the occasion? Only time will tell. What do you think of the look?

In other news, has anyone ever noticed the resemblance between Olivia Wilde and Angelina Jolie? It’s kind of uncanny…
