Elsa Schiaparelli will share the spotlight with Miuccia Prada at this year’s Met Costume Institute exhibit, which opens this Thursday, and now comes word that the design legend’s brand will reportedly be resurrected as early as this fall—with a focus on beauty! Diego Della Valle, the chief executive of Tod’s, bought the rights to the Schiaparelli house five years ago and plans to revive it not so much with clothes but original accessories and a reboot of the designer’s original fragrance hits, including 1936′s Shocking!, a reference to her signature bright pink.
