Donatella Talks Beauty Maintenance; Caffeine Does A Body Good; And More…

-------

VFiles has just launched a new video series called Pretty Global, which follows top international models as they experience the wacky world of beauty treatments. First up is Style.com/Print Issue 4 star Xiao Wen Ju, who tries her hand—or should we say cheeks and jaw?—at a session of facial yoga. [V Files]

At Vogue U.K.’s Vogue Festival in London this weekend, Donatella Versace revealed a little insight into her beauty regimen. “I stopped working with a personal trainer, as he wouldn’t let me smoke,” the formidable Italian designer admitted, adding “I’m not like this genetically. I use tons of cream and take care of my hair and skin.” [Vogue U.K.]

First came the aloe-vera-infused jeans that claim to moisturize parched limbs as you wear them, and now comes word of caffeine-tinged shapewear designed to break down cellulite while creating a smoother silhouette. What will they think of next? [Daily Mail]

Celebrity beauty deals are starting to get ugly. As Katy Perry faces a legal battle with her hair care endorsement company, ghd, Selena Gomez is apparently being sued by her fragrance licensing company, Adrenalina, for pulling out of her contract unexpectedly and for what they allege to be “nonsensical reasons.” [Perez Hilton]

The “Rachel” has apparently beget the “Thatcher.” Since Margaret Thatcher’s death earlier this month, many a Briton has reportedly requested the former Prime Minister’s signature set at the hair salon. [Daily Mail]
