Beauty Icon: Johnny Depp
Depp broke out of his matinee idol image with Edward Scissorhands, the first of many projects with director Tim Burton. To play the fragile, isolated Scissorhands, Depp spent a reported hour and 45 minutes each day getting his prosthetic makeup applied.
