While enrolled at artsy Sarah Lawrence College, Carly Simon (right) and her sister Lucy started a folk group called the Simon Sisters. The duo played small clubs in the Northeast wearing matching dresses and had a hit called "Wynken, Blynken, and Nod." Simon was hooked on performing despite an onstage shyness, and soon dropped out of school.
