Beauty Icon: Stevie Nicks
In 1972, the duo—now romantically linked—struck off on their own, releasing the album Buckingham Nicks the following year. Although its sales weren't stellar, it proved fruitful; while checking out a studio to record his band's next album, Mick Fleetwood heard their song "Frozen Love" and, in need of a skilled guitarist, invited Buckingham to join Fleetwood Mac. Upon being told that they were a package deal, Nicks was brought onboard as well.
