Beauty Icon: Jessica Lange
Despite its commercial success, the campy film and Lange's performance were both largely panned by critics. After honing her craft at the famed Actors Studio, Lange returned to the movies in 1979 as the Angel of Death in Bob Fosse's seminal semi-autobiographical film All That Jazz. The iconic choreographer reportedly wrote the part for his star, with whom he was romantically linked.
