And now this generation’s blond bombshell, Kate Upton, is making a case for going nude. The newest face of Bobbi Brown illustrates how to make a bang with beige in the cosmetic brand’s new campaign for “Smokey Nudes.” The Fall collection includes all the things we’ve come to expect from the makeup artist’s line: a palette with wearable shades in various textures—from full-on sparkle to matte and muted neutrals; creamy, rose-colored lipsticks; kajal liner in classic black, brown, gray, and eggplant; a volumizing mascara; and the pro’s cult-favorite Shimmer Brick. “It’s sexy, classic, and it brings out the blue in my eyes. It’s a bold statement, so I don’t have to do much to the rest of my look,” said the Sports Illustrated stunner of the shadowy effect. “I love to wear it with simple clothes, bronzy skin, and a nude lip.” While not all of us can boast a pinup-like silhouette (or Upton’s bra size), the smoky eye is the attention-commanding equalizer that every woman can keep in her arsenal.
