Rodin Raises the Bar
I’ve always thought of a bar of soap as this old-fashioned thing that sat on the side of my grandmother’s sink (she was faithful to a cake of Dove for decades), but Linda Rodin has changed my point of view. Her newly launched bath bar, like my grandma’s go-to, is simple and white—but the weightiness of this rectangle makes it feel especially luxe. After you lather up, it leaves behind the same delicate scent of jasmine and neroli as the brand’s cult-favorite face and body oils (Olio Lusso). And unlike most versions of this beauty classic, the glycerin and essential oils infused into the formula left my skin as hydrated and silky as the liquid wash I’ve been loyal to for years. When it comes to getting clean, I may be changing camps.
