Clé De Peau Goes Hollywood
The latest news on the celebrity spokesperson front: Clé de Peau Beauté, Shiseido’s high-end brand for all things skin perfecting, has just announced that its global brand ambassador will be Amanda Seyfried. This is a first for the Japanese cosmetics giant, which has relied on hand-picked models to properly showcase its range of gorgeous, high-performance color and skincare products in the past. (Hardcore Shiseido fans will remember when the brand plucked fresh-faced catwalker Patricia Schmid to front the visuals for its 2006 color collection, in one of the more gorgeous model-makeup pairings in recent memory.) To be honest, we knew a cosmetics contract was coming for Seyfried, but we assumed it would be for hair, not makeup, as the Dear John, Mamma Mia, and Mean Girls star is known for her long, tawny locks. That ivory skin of hers is also something to behold, though. What do you think of the appointment?
